I joined PFP over a year ago and enjoy the adult group training sessions. The small group sizes and fun, knowledgable trainers who help provide guidance on form or modifications for exercises when recovering from an injury make it an encouraging and positive environment to conquer your fitness goals.

Highly recommend this place. It is way way better than those fancy fitness clubs, where you get no personal attention. PFP takes special care of personal needs and weaknesses and are especially interested in injury free workouts. Workouts are flexible enough that one could challenge oneself or if it is not the day, one could dial back.

LOVE this gym. Great workout programs and the trainers are motivating, extremely knowledgeable and correct my form as needed so I don’t get injured. Really nice clientele too.

Knowledgeable, supportive small-group training delivers effective, varied workouts that improve strength, speed, rehab outcomes and suit athletes and families; however, the personalized small-group format may not appeal to those who prefer completely independent, big‑box gym or purely one-on-one options.

The coaches are amazing and make every class fun and motivating. Such a great environment for kids.Posted on Camila GraimTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. PFP is a fantastic boutique gym with extremely knowledgeable coaches and thoughtfully programmed, well-balanced workouts. Classes are small, so you receive real individual coaching, not just cues shouted to a room. If you’re dealing with an injury or limitations, you can trust that appropriate modifications will be made and that you’re truly in good hands. They also offer athlete training and workouts for children, which really speaks to the coaches’ expertise and professionalism. The community is warm, welcoming, and supportive from day one. While it’s on the pricier side, it is absolutely worth it for the quality of coaching, programming, and care you receive. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, high-quality workout in a small group setting, I highly recommend PFP.Posted on Anna BlackTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience working out at PFP. Structurally balanced workouts with good coaching, positive attitude, and emphasis on general strength and wellness . Highly recommend to everyone, from beginner to advanced fitness levelPosted on June JimenezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter has been going to PFP for just over a month. She came back from her last PFP session and the vertical jump test shows a 2.5 inch increase!! Amazing results in a very short amount of time. Those extra inches make all the difference for a middle volleyball player! My daughter looks forward to continuing training throughout the season, knowing that the hard work translates into results.Posted on keri bonnettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been bringing my two sons (8 & 10 years old) to Prepare for Performance for a few months now. They both love it and we are really happy with their progress and growth. The coaches are great. They have the kids working hard but also having fun. I’d encourage anyone to give PFP a try, you won’t regret it!Posted on Jenny FangTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I really enjoy this gym because it offers personally attentive training in a small-group setting. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and take the time to make sure everyone is using proper form and getting the most out of each workout. The only area for improvement would be parking, as it can be difficult to find a spot. Other than that, it’s a great place to train and I highly recommend it.Posted on Christina JackmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience, simple, effective and fun!
We provide sports performance training in Rockville and the surrounding area designed to build stronger, faster, and more resilient athletes.
Athletes improve strength, speed, agility, and confidence that transfer directly to competition. Parents see safer movement, fewer injuries, and long term athletic development. Coaches get well-prepared athletes who move efficiently, stay healthy, and perform consistently in game situations.
I can’t say enough good things about this place! What really sets it apart is the dedication they show not just to athletes, but to people of all ages and fitness levels. The attention to detail in every session makes such a difference—you can tell they truly care about helping each person move better and get stronger. Julian, in particular, is incredibly knowledgeable about sports performance and takes the time to explain things in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. Whether you’re an athlete looking to elevate your game or just someone who wants to improve overall health, this is the place to be!

My son plays travel soccer, did twice a week sessions for the summer. He enjoyed going to training and thanks to PFP, looks stronger and faster. We will be returning for future winter and summer sessions. Highly recommend!
